Hagi's debut as a coach in Europe

Even though Hagi, the Romanian football legend started his coaching career in 2001, he did not lead any team to the European coups. However, this time, Hagi will coach Steaua towards Champions League in the confrontation with Zaglebie Lubin. The team lacks six players who are injured and Bostina, who did not follow the team in Poland as he waits for the transfer to Holland.

One of the main problems of the team is the injured players who are still recovering from previous accidents. Moreover, defender Dorin Goian did not trained on Monday with the team as he accused aches in his back.

The second problem facing one of the biggest Romanian teams is the weather. If temperatures in Romania are as high as 32 degrees Celsius, Poland registers heavy rains and not more than 20 degrees Celsius.

Moreover, Hagi cannot use Robinson Zapata as goalkeeper as his green card did not arrive from South America.

Even though the team is incomplete, Hagi is confident in the team’s winning chances and declared that his players have enough experience to win the match.

When asked about the adversaries, Hagi admitted that Zaglebie would be a tough team and that Steaua had better treat the game seriously.
