The two Romanian alpinists who were stranded while climbing the Nanga Parbat peak in the Himalayas last week were found alive and healty about a week when communication with them halted, national TV station TVR has reported.
The two were caught by storm while climbing Nanga Parbat. Their team mates, who remained in a camp at a lower altitude, had tried vainly to come in contact with them for several days.
The Romanian team left for the Himalayas a month ago and planned to reach the 8125 meters high Nanga Parbat peak.
