Romania and Bulgaria will have to liberalize the market before 2012, an European Parliament press release informs.
The total opening of the market means that the national operators will no longer have exclusive rights for "reserved areas", meaning for the packages under 50 grams. The law draft will be voted by the European Parliament in July.
Deputies consider that the law should be applied under certain terms, including the "universal service" - meaning the complete coverage of the territory for an accessible price.
The mail must be collected at least once a day, five days a week.
