A new budget rectification is about to be discussed next week by the Government, so that the budget deficit would remain at 2.5% of the Gross National Product, said the Finance Minster Sebastian Vladescu.
“The budget has for now a 1% of the GNP surplus. It is difficult to estimate the level at the end of the year, because the are still payments to be discounted, but I don’t believe the deficit will be over 2.5%”, Vladescu added.
PM Tariceanu earlier stated that the rectification would decrease the deficit.
